Lutheran Church By the Lake Worship Schedule : 

  • 8:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary
  • 9:15 a.m. at Elijah Clark State Park, Lincolnton, Georgia overlooking the lake
  • 10:30 a.m. in he Sanctuary as well as live-streamed to the ARK and posted on our YouTube Page, Facebook page, and website.

DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS AND RECOMMENDATIONS FROM OUR GOVERNOR,  modifications to our services have been made to provide for the safety and well-being of all who attend.

All who attend services are asked to attend only if they are symptom free (no temperature, chills, body aches) and will be required to wear a face mask until seated quietly in the pews. Distancing of 6′ will be enforced, and the use of hand sanitizer stations will be encouraged. Pews will be disinfected prior to each service in the sanctuary, and singing will be limited to only a limited number of choir members.

8:00 a.m. – An early service will be held in the Sanctuary at this time. Holy Communion will be served on the first Sunday of the month All safety and health protocols will be followed.

9:15 a.m. – Join us at Elijah Clark State Park in Lincolnton, GA, for an outdoor lakefront worship service in the Cathedral of Creation. Please bring lawn chairs, sunscreen, and beverages for hydration as the weather warms.  Boaters and land lovers alike enjoy this wonderful time of praise and worship!

 10:30 a.m. – During the COVID pandemic, this will be a Liturgical Church Service with  Holy Communion served on the first  Sunday of each month and Festival Sundays.

                                      EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

Adult Bible Study is held on Wednesdays at  7:00PM in he Bridge. Join in on  a new series beginning on April 21 for a five-session small group experience covering the passion and commitment early believers displayed as they claimed Jesus in the face of fierce consequences and powerful adversaries.

Pastor Jim’s Tuesday Bible Study in the ARK and with ZOOM access, 10:00 A.M. on Tuesdays. Through May 11 the study is based on the Max Lucado book, “Anxious for Nothing”.

Women’s Bible Study in the ARK, 3rd Wednesday each month at 2:00 P.M.
